Painted Rock is the second school in the Reid Traditional Schools (RTS) family of schools. RTS’ Valley Academy, the first school, was founded in 1995 as one of Arizona’s first charter schools. Through the years, RTS’ Valley Academy has consistently been an excelling, award-winning school. | Responiblitlies and Duties: |
Classroom teachers provide direct instruction in an environment that supports the traditional, back-to-basics philosophy of the school using the school-adopted curriculum. Teachers work as a team to ensure consistency within grade levels. Frequent interaction with parents is required. |
| Qualification Requirements: |
The position requires, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree or higher; Arizona Teacher Certification or willingness to obtain within 18 months is desired; must meet Highly Qualified requirements; a demonstrated history of providing effective instruction in a classroom setting may be considered. Willingness to obtain Spalding training at time of employment, if applicable. Fingerprint card/background check required. |

| Job Description: | Provides classroom instruction as directed by teacher lesson plans and grade papers according to teacher’s directions. |
| Minimum Requirements: | High school diploma and ability to pass background check. |
| Desired Qualities: | Bachelor’s Degree and previous teaching experience is desired. |
| Salary Range: | Certified: $100 per day Non-certified: $85.00 per day Long-term assignments: above pay plus $20 per day. (applies after the twentieth consecutive day of assignment) |
